MOTHS (Stripe Edition) is our second collaboration with Bolivia-based American artist Matthew Palladino. Each court card showcases one of Palladino’s signature watercolor moths, mirrored in classic playing card symmetry, while the back design introduces a striking new “Made Up Moth” that sets the tone for the edition.

Matthew Palladino (b. 1985, San Francisco) is an American artist based in La Paz, Bolivia, known for painted sculptural reliefs, watercolours and psychedelic, cartoon-inflected imagery. He studied painting at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. His work is in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art and has been exhibited at Garth Greenan Gallery in New York, NANZUKA in Tokyo and Dio Horia in Mykonos, among others.
